Small and rural incumbent telephone companies are at a very important crossroads. As you continue to see decline in access minutes and line counts, not to mention increasing competition, the need to find new sources of revenue is paramount. Revenues from plain-old telephone voice services and all the associated offerings must be replaced. Although some additional revenue comes from broadband deployment, more must be done! POTS and broadband services will need to coexist until all services are delivered over broadband connections, which poses the challenge: how do I compete with myself?
Tech Track
Sessions will provide attendees with insight on the technologies necessary to create and deliver new services over broadband connections. Experts also will discuss services and applications such as VoIP, VoD, and local content that can bring in new revenue.
Marketing Track
Experts will share their insight on a variety of topics to help you bring your marketing strategies and tactics to the next level. Sessions on the basic principles behind pricing, bundling and measuring the return on your marketing dollars will help you ensure your company offers complimentary products and services. Workshops also will address marketing in the broadband world and successful CPNI strategies.
