This year’s recipient of the OPASTCO Grassroots Advocacy Excellence Award is Lou Mize of Electricom, Inc., in Paoli, Ind.
As an associate member, Lou has been a long-standing supporter and participant of OPASTCO’s Legislative and Regulatory Conference. Lou recognizes that lobbying on Capitol Hill gives telcos needed support while also giving vendors a chance to explain how legislative policy would affect their own companies, abilities to employ a competitive workforce, and how decisions made in Washington, DC, are experienced by the rural telecommunications industry throughout the country.
