Chairman's Award
This award is the highest honor bestowed by OPASTCO. It is presented to an individual who has made outstanding, lifelong contributions to the independent telecommunications industry.
General Criteria:
The OPASTCO Past Chairmen’s Award Committee oversees the nomination process for the Chairman’s Award. Several months prior to the Winter Convention, the committee begins accepting nominations.
Any employee of an OPASTCO telecommunications company member may submit a nomination, which is then evaluated by the committee on merit. Nominees must:
- Be a current or retired employee of a member telecommunications company;
- Have a history of participating in OPASTCO committees;
- Have a record of outstanding contributions that benefit the independent telecommunications industry at the national level.
