Associate Member Distinguished Service Award

This award honors associate members who have performed outstanding service on behalf of the independent telecommunications industry and OPASTCO.

The 2008 Associate Member Distinguished Service Award will be presented at the 45th Annual Summer Convention & Tradeshow in Quebec City, Quebec.  The award recipient(s) will receive recognition their accomplishments and will be featured in the convention wrap-up issue of the OPASTCO Roundtable.

General Criteria:

The OPASTCO Associate Member Committee oversees the nomination process for the Associate Member Distinguished Service Award. Several months prior to the Summer Convention, the committee begins accepting nominations.

Any employee on OPASTCO telecommunications company member or associate member may submit a nomination, which is then evaluated by the committee on merit. Nominees must:

  • Be current, retired or previous employee of an associate member company;
  • Have a history of involvement with and service on behalf of OPASTCO and its members;
  • Have a record of extraordinary accomplishments and contributions on behalf of the independent telecommunications industry at the local, state or national level.
